Quantum gravity is expected to become important near the Planck scale, far beyond the reach of present experiments. This motivates the search for indirect, low-energy signatures of quantum-gravity effects. In this talk, I will discuss one such phenomenological signature and a possible method to test it using large molecular wave packets. The work involved undergraduate students from Colima and will be accessible to an audience familiar with basic quantum mechanics.
